Our next "Epic" will be a new production of the Ultimate Feel Good Family Musical ANNIE!
The Annie Hype has already begun, with tickets now on sale at The Churchill, and Annie Idol on its way. At that time of writing this, we have over 80 potential Annie’s auditioning on 21st July at The Churchill!
Annie has a lot for everyone... With 6 big company numbers, and at least 20 different character roles, big and small. The music is known by most and hopefully it will be a big seller (We need it!)
Songs from Annie include: The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow, Easy Street, It’s A Hard-Knock Life, Little Girls and NYC.
For those of you who took part in our 2001 production of Annie... Never fear... it will not be the same show, partly because we have the licence to present the new re-written version. It has new and changed bits of dialogue throughout and features a new song in Act I for Daddy Warbucks. The have also cut a couple of reprises and swapped the scenes round a bit.
Oh. and it's a 30th anni(e)versary production, as the first ever Annie Broadway production was in April 1977 ....
