Karma Sundermann (Elsie Maynard) comes from California and obtained a B.Mus from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She moved to England in 2000 and continued her studies at Morley College, London, from where she obtained a Music Access Certificate. She has performed in opera and operetta, both in California and since moving to England, in roles such as Polly Peacham (The Threepenny Opera), Aline (The Sorcerer), First Lady (The Magic Flute), Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro), Betti (Ten Belles Without a Ring) and Antonia (The Tales of Hoffman). Karma also has also given concerts and recitals in various venues in South East England.
