Greeting to WWOS from the composer

Titanic, the smash hit Broadway musical originally set sail in 1997, eightyfive years after the RMS Titanic left Southampton on her now legendary maiden voyage. It won five Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Score and wowed audiences and critics alike.

The musical tells the exciting and emotional story of the hopes, loves and dreams of the real passengers and crew as they set off on their journey to America, little knowing the tragic events that await them. The story, known by all, is sympathetically told with a beautiful musical score and presented in spectacular fashion.

“The greatest American musical to have been written in 15 years. A triumph. A score which soars. A masterpiece.”
                   Sheridan Morley (The Spectator).

WWOS gave the very successful London Première in 2006 and we now bring it back to The Churchill during the 100th Anniversary week of the maiden voyage..
