Alan Crooks (John B Thayer) has enjoyed a varied career in theatre and opera in Australia and this country, as a professional singer for such companies as the State Opera of South Australia, English National Opera, Swansea City Opera, Opera Box and others, as well as groups such as WWOS, with whom he has been associated, on and off, for over twenty years, as singer, musical director and producer. He keeps looking for a period away from music to try his hand at pure acting, and to enjoy more time with his other hobby of model railways, but so far with little or no success. Maybe next year.
