Howard Jmes (Charles Lightoller) has been a member of WWOS since 1982 and has performed in many of their shows since that date. His last appearance was in the Broadway Pirates where he played a pirate with dreadlocks in the chorus and had a great time.Before that he was a reporter/civil servant/Russian/etc. in Chess. His favourite roles to date include the title role in an updated version of The Mikado set in a car factory in Milton Keynes, The Tin Man (The Wizard Of Oz), Mr Peachum (The Beggar's Opera), Sir Evelyn Oakleigh (Anything Goes), Bill Sikes (Oliver!), Mr Kleinman (Mack & Mabel) and one of the priests in Jesus Christ Superstar. He is also an active mermber of the WWOS Old Tyme Stagers, Theatre 62 and Bromley Little Theatre where he will be directing Stephen King's Misery early next year. Howard admits that he likes new challenges and Titanic certainly is all that and more so, as 2nd officer Charles Lightoller he hopes to steer a steady course throughout the show.
