Amanda Farrant (Alice Beane) survived the last maiden voyage with WWOS in 2006 at the Churchill so she couldn’t resist boarding Titanic once again to play the same role, and she feels it a great pleasure to be part of the 100^th Anniversary, albeit emotional. She started performing in 1993 with other societies in the Kent and Sussex areas but joined WWOS in 2004 and has been an active member ever since. She has many principle roles under her belt including: Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance, Broadway Version), Elsie Maynard (The Yeomen of the Guard), Phyllis (Iolanthe), Gianetta (The Gondoliers), Princess Ida (Princess Ida), Julie Jordon (Carousel), Eliza Doolittle (My fair Lady), Reno Sweeney (Anything Goes), Annie Oakley (Annie Get Your Gun), Nellie Forbush (South Pacific), Grace Farrell (Annie and Annie Warbucks) and Alex (The Witches of Eastwick), Glinda (The Wizard of Oz), Vicky Nichols (The Full Monty - twice) and Soul Girl/Apostles wife (Jesus Christ Superstar), phew I.think that’s it!
