Graham Copeland (Chief Engineer Bell) joined WWOS way back in the last century when they were performing mainly G&S (his first love) in 'village halls' and he has watched the Society grow into one of the leading amateur groups in the South East, performing in a professional theatre to professional standards. During the last 50 years he has appeared in all the G&S operas, plus two G&S adaptations (Engaged! and Tarantara! Tarantara!), as well as most of the modern musicals. He is.usually found buried in the depths of the chorus but does have the occasional foray to the edges of the spotlight in a 'small part', notably as a constabulary character. He is a founder member of the Society's Olde Tyme Music Hall troupe and greatly enjoys the camaraderie of this small and enthusiastic band of touring players. Off-stage Graham plays a more prominent role in the the Society's activities as secretary and the designer of their website, posters and programmes.
