SECOND PRODUCTION OF ME AND MY GIRL BY WWOS

The ultimate rags to riches musical comedy with a great story, vintage songs and a script wittily reworked by Stephen Fry - definitely fun for all the family! There’s a ‘happy ever after’ love story, a lovable rogue taking on the stuffy establishment and musical numbers which you can’t help humming along to.

When Bill Snibson, a cockney barrow boy, is revealed as the new Earl of Hareford, his newly-discovered aristocratic relatives are horrified. Their attempts to educate him into the ways of the gentry and separate him from his cockney girlfriend, Sally, have hilarious results. Among the many toe-tapping numbers are the show-stopping “Lambeth Walk”, “The Sun Has Got His Hat On” , “Leaning On A Lamp Post” and, of course, “Me And My Girl”.

Me and My Girl still holds the record as the most performed musical comedy in the history of the West End theatre. With uplifting songs and witty one-liners this WWOS, lavishly costumed, slickly choreographed, all-singing, all-dancing and all-clicking spoons production is not to be missed (well worth the bread and honey!)
